Grounds rules
- All live plants must be in a pot in an elevated urn stand. The urn stand must be positioned adjacent to the gravestone.
- Fresh cut flowers must be contained in a non-breakable receptacle on or near the gravestone.
- We do not recommend shepherd’s hooks.
- Do not leave potted plants sitting on the ground or gravestone.
- All plants and pots must be removed by October 15th for winter storage.
- The cemetery does not generally permit artificial decorations, including plastic or silk flowers, styrofoam crosses, balloons, stuffed animals, non-US flags, pinwheels, etc. These types of decorations can only be displayed for a few days before and after holidays and then removed.
- **All flowers and memorabilia deemed unsightly, unsafe or inappropriate may be removed at the discretion of the cemetery management.
- All natural wreaths and greens are allowed from November 15th to March 15th, as the weather permits. After that time they will be removed and discarded.

**These rules are also posted outside the cemetery gates.
Cemetery rules
- A headstone or permanent marker must be installed within 1 year of a burial. The WCA must be notified and approve all such installations.
- All headstones and markers installed after January 1, 2008 must have a ground level border of at least 4 inches to facilitate maintenance. The WCA strongly recommends that all new headstone or marker borders be pre-drilled to accept an urn stand.
- Gravestones and markers are the property of the family. Therefore, in the event of damage to a headstone or marker due to weather, vandalism, etc, lot owners or their descendants are responsible for replacement or repair. In the event there are no owners or descendants, the WCA may at its discretion attempt to repair the damage. (Perpetual Care includes grounds maintenance such as grass cutting, tree maintenance, etc, not repair or replacement of the headstones or markers.)
- One traditional burial, two cremations, or one cremation burial over a traditional burial will be allowed per lot.
- The WCA must be notified in writing in the event a lot owner wishes to sell or otherwise transfer ownership of their lot/lots.
- Annual meetings of the WCA shall take place each year in November. Members will be notified of the time and place of the meeting.
- A vault for a casket burial is required by the WCA. Vaults must be made of cement or a material approved by the Association.
** Note **
** The WCA by-laws state that association members consist of lot owners; when two or more owners of a lot are present at a meeting, only one may vote.
** Lot prices do not include burial costs **
