May Clean-up Day is held the first Saturday of May.
If we all keep our eyes open while we are at the cemetery and do a bit of tidying up while we are there, we can keep the cemetery looking nice in between Clean-up days. There are trash bins for cans, bottles, spent flowers, and other trash and a brush pile for sticks and small branches.
Projects that need to be worked on include:
- clean stones
- straighten stones
- unearth blocks
- spray block markers
- pick up sticks
- spray weeds in driveway
- repair fence
- prune trees
- clean up perennial beds
